Careers at New Mexico Counseling Center
More than a job - A place to build your career
-
At New Mexico Counseling Center, we believe exceptional client care starts with supporting exceptional clinicians. Whether you're an experienced therapist looking for more flexibility or an associate clinician working toward independent licensure, we're building an environment where you can grow a sustainable career alongside a collaborative team.
Why clinicians choose us
Supervision and mentorship that actually develop YOU
-
NMCC is founded and led by Kristy Souza, MS, LMFT, LSAA, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and New Mexico Approved Supervisor. Associate-level clinicians get direct clinical supervision focused on building confidence, competence, and professional identity. Independently licensed clinicians have ongoing access to consultation and collaboration with the rest of the team.
Real Flexibility
-
Full-time, part-time, in-person, telehealth, or a mix of both, we build schedules around what actually works for you. We offer both W-2 employment and 1099 contractor positions for independently licensed clinicians.
Administrative support that protects your time
-
Our administrative team handles referrals, scheduling, and insurance billing, so you can spend your time on clinical work, not paperwork.
An established referral network
-
You're not building a caseload from zero, referrals are already coming in.
A caseload you help shape
-
Our therapists work across a wide range of populations and concerns, including substance use and recovery, trauma and PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders, couples and family therapy, children and adolescents, court-involved clients, and life transitions. You're encouraged to build a caseload that reflects your own interests and experience.
